Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. Matthew 3:13
Christ prescribed this ordinance which confirms faith in Him. Preceded by a confession of faith in Christ and repentance, symbolizing the believer’s initial union with Christ by death to sins, burial (immersion) in water, and rising to new life; Repent — literally, to turn and go the other direction; specifically, to decide not to continue activities God forbids and to obey what He commands, Converted — changed from being a sinner to a life of obedience to God (being a Christian). Born again — the spiritual process of becoming a new person by belief in Christ. It involves repenting of sin and being forgiven of sin; conversion — transformation or change — regarding belief in and obedience to God; being a child of God, versus being a sinner. Baptism –a public statement of your faith, Our great example of total immersion baptism is Jesus’ own baptism by John the Baptist. Baptismal classes are highly recommended and are available upon request.
Blessing Service (Babies & Children)
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. Mark 10:14-16
A blessing usually takes place as part of a main church service. With your child and family members we would like to welcome you to the front of the church and enjoy the service. If you have any special readings or songs these can be discussed with the Pastor prior to the beginning of the service.
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. John 11:25
God’s love and power extend over all creation. Every life, including our own, is precious to God. Christians have always believed that there is hope in death as in life, and that there is new life in Christ after death. Death is never a pleasant thought, but we trust that the Lord will strengthen you as we work with you during this difficult time.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. Mark 10:7, 8
Marriage is an institution of God and is an exclusive lifetime union between one man and one woman for the purpose of perpetuating humanity and enriching human experience, reflecting the bond between Christ and His church.
